C Richard Morley B.A. (Director – Personal injury
Richard Morley is a Partner within the Personal Injury Department. He also deals with conveyancing and probate work and represents clients in all manner of landlord and tenant matters, including the preparation of tenancy agreements and where necessary, repossessions.
Richard is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, and is committed to obtaining the best possible result for his clients. Richard has acted for many clients on a No Win – No Fee basis over the years and will be delighted to discuss potential claims with clients on a completely without obligation basis.
Richard is also the Staffing Partner and encourages staff to further their own skills. Richard speaks basic French.
Laurence Brown (Director) – Commercial and Residential Conveyancing Department
Laurence Brown is a Partner in the firm and heads the Commercial Conveyancing Department. Apart from the sale and purchase of residential properties Laurence has increasingly moved towards commercial work involving the purchase and sale of businesses, public houses, shops, offices and factories and acting for developers.
Laurence started working in the law in 1971, qualifying first as a legal executive and then as a solicitor in 1982 working in the Boston area as Laurence Brown & Co before founding Morley Brown & Co in 1989. His career has encompassed all areas of the law before specialising in property work.
Laurence has over 30 years experience of handling property matters and is also the Partner responsible within the firm for finances, professional training and information technology.
Laurence is the firm’s Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration.
Paul Howden (Director) – Commercial Property and Wills and Probate
Paul Howden is the Partner who heads Wills and Probate Department. He is the Supervisor for this department. He also has considerable experience of complex commercial transactions and Probate, Trusts and Wills.
Paul has worked in the law since 1972, qualifying first as a legal executive at age 22 then as a solicitor in 1986.
Paul has been a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 1995.
He has spent his entire legal career working in the Boston area, and joined Morley Brown & Co as a Partner in 2003.
Paul is the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice.
The Fee Earners
Daniel Howden – (Director) – Conveyancing
Daniel heads the firm’s residential conveyancing department.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx). He handles all aspects of Residential and some Commercial work and supervises the residential conveyancers.
Daniel joined Morley Brown & Co in 2006. He qualified as a legal executive over 10 years ago and has extensive experience in property work, having seen well over 1000 complex cases through to completion since starting at our firm .
Linda Berry – Divorce & Family Matters
Linda is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and deals with all aspects of Family work including Divorce, Financial Relief and Separation Agreements.
Vickie Ingamells – Wills & Estate Administration
Vickie has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) since 2016. She attended Skegness Grammar School. Vickie spends 100% of her time in the preparation of wills, the administration of estates and Court of Protection and Public Guardianship work. She has extensive experience in this type of work and has handled over 1000 estate cases since she joined Morley Brown & Co.
Jayne started at Morley Brown & Co in 2011 having worked at a number of local solicitors since leaving school.
Jayne started as a Conveyancing Assistant before progressing to full time residential conveyancing in 2014. She has extensive experience in all aspects of residential conveyancing and has seen over 500 cases of varying complexity through to completion since joining the firm.
Matthew joined Morley Brown & Co in 2012 after taking his A Levels (including Law).
He handles all types of residential freehold and leasehold conveyancing of varying complexity and has handled over 1000 cases. He is currently studying for his Licensed Conveyancers examinations.
